Nattokinase - Nature's power for a healthy circulatory system

Nattokinase (NK) is an enzyme classified as a serine protease. It occurs naturally in nattō - a Japanese food. Nattō contains a large amount of valuable nutrients, including proteins, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K - especially K2 MK7, magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron.

Nattokinase – supports the circulatory system and prevents blood clots

Nattokinase is a serine protease - a broad-spectrum enzyme:

- anticoagulant - prevents the formation of blood clots, which can cause obstruction of blood vessels

- antiplatelet - acts analogously to acetylsalicylic acid, also preventing clots

- antihypertensive

- anti-atherosclerotic - prevents the formation of so-called atherosclerotic plaque, lowering the concentration of lipids and triglycerides - affects the level of "good cholesterol"

- neuroprotective - protective on cells of the nervous system

- prophylactic in stroke and heart attack - by preventing blood clots

Nattokinase exhibits a number of health-promoting properties, including helping to prevent the formation of blood clots, thereby protecting the heart and blood vessels from obstruction, improving blood parameters by reducing viscosity and preventing clots, and exhibiting antiplatelet activity - reducing aggregation, or clumping of platelets, which also promotes the formation of clots due to Lyme disease, for example.

Properties of nattokinase

Nattokinase supports the function of the cardiovascular system. When it comes into contact with blood clots, it exhibits potent fibrinolytic (clot-breaking) activity and acts by inactivating plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1). Elevated PAI-1 is one of the main risk factors for clot formation and atherosclerosis of blood vessels. NK then leads to a reduction in fibrin, a protein that precipitates from plasma during the clotting process and forms clots. It lowers blood pressure, which is one of the risk factors for serious heart disease, by lowering lipid levels - cholesterol and triglycerides, which promote atherosclerotic lesions in blood vessels.

Nattokinase vs. thrombosis - Thrombophlebitis is a disease affecting the veins that causes clots to form on their walls. It occurs as deep vein thrombosis, superficial vein thrombosis (causing varicose veins), hepatic vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Due to its anticoagulant effect, NK is part of the prevention of thrombophlebitis.

It supports the function of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, and can also reduce headaches, and may be effective in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease.

Because it normalizes insulin and blood sugar levels, it promotes weight loss and is helpful in pre-diabetes and diabetes.
