Magnesium Bisglycinate - the most bioavailable form of magnesium

Magnesium Bisglycinate is a dietary supplement that consists of magnesium chelated with glycine, an amino acid. Magnesium bisglycinate is more easily absorbed in the intestines compared to other forms of magnesium. This enhanced absorption makes it an attractive choice for supplementation.

A clinical trial involving 80 pregnant women showed that taking magnesium bisglycinate daily for four weeks reduced the frequency and intensity of leg cramps compared to the placebo group. Some 86% of women taking magnesium experienced at least a 50% decrease in the frequency of cramps.
